Stella May I know how to make whole roasted cauliflower?

Of course you may. Another food recipe this week! This is the super easy whole roasted cauliflower. Cauliflower is one of those vegetables that I always pick up when it goes on sale. This week the cheddar cauliflower (or orange cauliflower) was only a dollar each! So of course I picked one up and decided that I needed to highlight the dish by whole roasting it.
& it's super easy to make! First preheat the oven to 400ºF. Then trim the cauliflower so it will sit flat and remove some of all the the leaves.
Then set the cauliflower to an oven safe pan or cast iron pan.
Generously oil the entire cauliflower. Make sure to really massage it into every crevice.
Season with salt and pepper. I went pretty heavy handed with this since I wanted to season the whole cauliflower.
Tightly cover the whole pan with foil. I used two sheets here. & bake for 40-50 minutes. (depends on the size of the cauliflower.)
When you can easily slice it with a knife then remove the foil and generously brush on butter or ghee. (I then sprinkled on some parley.)
Bake for another 5 minutes to just brown the tips and then your are ready to serve!

I think this makes a simple side dish and it makes presentation easy. Let me know if you try this simple side dish out!
